Insert burning moxa stick into the center hole of the inner spring tube sleeve. Do not remove the inner sleeve when inserting moxa. When the burning moxa stick is completely inside the tube, lightly press the inner spring tube sleeve. The inside clamps which are holding the maxa stick will loosen and the moxa stick will slide down to the position desired. The outer rolling drum will become warm and hot, Test the temperature with yur palm to make sure it is comfortable before using. After treatment, simply press the inner spring tube and turn upside down-the moxa stick will fall out of the tube. Inner tube can only be re-moved for cleaning after moxa stick in out. Extinguish moxa stick. NOTE: Direct moxa, indirect moxa, and needle moxa should always be administered and used under the direction or supervision of a qualified practitioner. Do not leave patient unattended during any moxa use. Do not use moxa on the face, soft skin, or other sensitive body areas. Do not use moxa on infants or young children.
