  How Tuning Forks Are Used
  
  Tuning forks were originally used to tune musical instruments because they emanate perfect sine wave sound patterns that allow you to fine-tune instruments to the proper pitch.
  
  When you strike a tuning fork however, you'll notice how it causes the air around the fork to vibrate, sending out very strong vibrating impulses through the air. Because of this, they have been adopted by healers who use them to increase the amount of energy on parts of the body they are trying to heal.
  
  Aluminum Alloy tuning forks are designed for health and healing. Unlike stainless steel, they emit more pure, more vibrant, louder and longer lasting tones. And contrary to steel forks which create a single note, aluminum alloy forks are specifically designed to create rich overtones.

  There are several ways to tone your tuning forks:

  1. for the softest sound, tap tuning forks on a hard muscle such as the thigh near the knee or the firmest part of the palm of your hand
