QLD nickel-chromium alloy (PFM) used to make PFM (porcelain-fused-to-metal) crown and bridge, high biological compatibility,non beryllium, is a trustworthy alloy.

Instructions for Use:
Wax Pattern
The thickness of the wax pattern shall be at least 0.4 mm and the thickness of the casting after sanding and sand blast shall be at least 0.3 mm. In case of dental crown or long bridge that contains high percentage of metal, a metal reservoir can be installed after proof by experiment.
Embedment
Compatibility is available to the market generally accepted phosphate Ni-Cr porcelain embedment. Application shall be put under strict control according to the instructions provided by the embedding material manufacturers.
Casting
This alloy can be cast with flame or through HF process. Porcelain crucible is selected. Do not overheat during fusion. Its better not to wait till the film is broken so as to avoid shrinkage cavities, bubbles, etc. It is suggested that only new metal be used to keep accuracy and nice outlook of the casting. For recycled application, only 30% of used metal can be added.
After the cast ring is opened
To cut off the sprue according to the standard, sand the casting then carry out sand blast ;
Cleaning and Oxidation
Clean the sand blasted casting with ultrasonic wave or steam and then carry out oxidation to the casting in the porcelain furnace in complete vacuum at 980. Time of holding is nor necessary for single crown and small bridge. If the bridge is too long, please hold for 2 minutes to avoid deformation.

Caution
The product contains nickel. Those people who are allergic to nickel shall use it with caution.
Good ventilation is required in the casting shop and sanding shop. Operators must wear gauze mask to prevent intake of metal powder through respiration to harm human body.
